* 2 A Phillips-head screwdrivers (a large one for the case and a smaller one for internal screws)* A small pair of pliers* A small, sturdy (i.e. difficult to bendhelpful but not required) flathead screwdriver for bending hard-to-reach metal tabs|[[File:dreamcast_teardown_01.jpg|200px|right]]
