The Atari Jaguar CD was an add-on the the Atari Jaguar which enabled the Jaguar to play CD-based games in addition to cartridge-based games. It was a commercial failure, and it is possible that as few as 20,000 units were sold worldwide. The Jaguar CD is also notorious for having a high rate of hardware failure.
