A HuCard (known as a TurboChip in the United States) is a memory card developed by Hudson Soft for the NEC PC Engine (TurboGrafx-16 in the US) and SuperGrafx video game consoles.
The size of a credit card, a HuCard contains an integrated circuit (IC) that is placed close to the connectors and protected by a thin plastic shield. Compared to the more traditional cartridges used by almost every other game console of the time, the HuCard is relatively small and compact.
